Invisalign
Invisalign is an orthodontic appliance which moves the teeth by a series of removable clear aligners which are fully customized. The suitability or otherwise for Invisalign treatment will be assessed at the initial consultation. Once the patient decides for Invisalign, an intra-oral digital scan with the iTero scanner is taken, as well as a set of digital photographs. These digital records, together with the orthodontic prescription, are uploaded on the Invisalign website.
Lingual orthodontic systems (WIN)
Lingual orthodontic systems (WIN) represent the most advanced evolution of “invisible” fixed braces. These systems are fully customised using digital CAD/CAM technology, allowing each bracket and archwire to be individually designed to fit the exact anatomy of the patient’s teeth for exceptional precision and comfort. Positioned on the inner (lingual) surfaces of the teeth, they are completely hidden from view while still delivering highly controlled, three-dimensional tooth movement comparable to traditional braces.
